SCHOLARSHIP FUND: The name of this Scholarship shall be the
(The Scholarship).
PURPOSE:
To provide a financial scholarship to a student who has met the qualifications and eligibility requirements of the Annapolis Trust and intends to pursue undergraduate college or university degree programs at accredited institutions.
FUNDING:
The Sponsor agrees to contribute $7,200/student selected by the Annapolis Trust to participate in the Annapolis Trust Sponsor-A-Scholar Program (the Program).
Upon execution of the Agreement, the scholarship(s) will be payable as follows:
At the rate of $1,800 per year for a period of four years. Annual installments shall be due on the anniversary date of the Sponsor’s initial payment
One payment of $7,200
The Annapolis Trust will use $800 of the sponsorship funds to cover costs associated with the Program such as administration, student activities and mentoring support.

ELIGIBILITY:
The Scholarship(s) will be awarded to 6 (six) of the current applicants recommended by the Annapolis Trust’s Scholarship Review Committee to receive a four-year college scholarship.
The Annapolis Trust focuses on those students who are residents of Anne Arundel County; low income and/or first-generation-to-college; and plan to attend a technical school or two year or four year college or university to obtain a certificate or degree. The application period for the Annapolis Trust scholarships begins in October each calendar year. All applicants must submit an application in writing and participate in an interview process as determined by the Annapolis Trust’s Scholarship Review Committee.
All recipients must be full time students and must maintain a 2.5 GPA to ensure the continuance of their scholarship commitment and agree to work with a mentor who has been screened and trained by the Annapolis Trust.
CHARITABLE USE:
The Scholarship shall be granted or expended for or in furtherance of the purposes of the Annapolis Trust scholarship program. The applicable laws and governing instruments of the Annapolis Trust require that the Annapolis Trust have legal control over the donated property. If the student who was the original recipient of the Scholarship becomes ineligible to participate in the Annapolis Trust scholarship program, after consultation with the Annapolis Trust Board of Directors, the Annapolis Trust will award the Scholarship to a new recipient.
ADMINISTRATION OF THE SCHOLARSHIP:
The Annapolis Trust will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations and ensuring payment of the Scholarship to the technical school, college or university. The Annapolis Trust will also provide customer support for the Student and School as needed
